Due to the inclement winter weather, the City of Columbia will be opening up the Overflow Shelter for our unsheltered populations at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025.
Transportation with The COMET will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the corner of Sumter St. and Laurel St.
City leadership will continue to monitor the weather and will make any necessary announcements regarding keeping the Overflow Shelter open for additional days.
