Ribbon Cutting for Cat Daddy’s Cat Café

Who: City Councilwoman Dr. Aditi Bussells, The City of Columbia Office of Business Opportunities and Cat Daddy’s Cat Café owners, Mohammad Saadeddin and Melissa Peterson.

What: The Office of Business Opportunities is hosting a ribbon cutting for Cat Daddy’s Cat Café with owners Mohammad Saadeddin and his wife Melissa Peterson. Mr. Saadeddin and Mrs. Peterson are owners of NOMA Bistro in the Main Street community. Mr. Saadeddin has over 50 years of experience as a business owner; 30 of those years in Columbia, SC.

Cat Daddy’s Cat Café is a combination cat adoption center and café that hopes to make a positive impact on the community’s social and mental well-being, in addition to the lives of homeless cats. The café will offer a unique dual-purpose experience: rescuing and rehoming homeless cats while providing the public with a relaxing, social engaging space to enjoy light, healthy foods.
