By April 10, 2023No Comments

National Community Development Week’s main objective is to educate Congressional members on the importance of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and its impact and the need for increased program funding while celebrating the 49th anniversary of the CDBG. National Community Development Week will be held April 10-14, 2023 and provides the perfect opportunity to cement the importance of CDBG. The CDBG Program provides annual funding and flexibility to local communities to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing, a suitable living environment and economic opportunities along with the HOME Program that provides funding to local communities to create decent, safe, affordable housing opportunities for low-income persons.
