WHO: Mayor’s Campaign against Breast Cancer in collaboration with the City of Columbia Payment Center
WHAT: Join us and support the Mayor’s Campaign against Breast Cancer by purchasing popcorn and pink (or regular) lemonade. Popcorn will be $2, and lemonade will be $2-$3.
For over 20 years, the Mayor’s Campaign against Breast Cancer has raised awareness about the fight against breast cancer and provided support to patients, families, and survivors in our community. The proceeds from this year’s campaign will help fund an innovative 3-D mammography imaging unit for the Prisma Health Baptist Parkridge campus.
The Prone Stereotactic Unit includes a Brevera specimen unit with a 12-chamber system for taking multiple separate biopsy samples. This innovation results in less procedure and breast compression time, ultimately improving the patient experience.
