Columbia Art Center Hosts Winter Solstice Lantern Workshops

What: The Columbia Art center is hosting three Winter Solstice Lantern Workshops in preparation for the Winter Solstice Lantern Parade taking place on December 21, 2024 at Riverfront Park.
Register online with keyword “Solstice”. Dress to get messy and bring a battery operated flashlight or string lights to build into your lantern.

What: The City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the Winter Solstice Lantern Parade.
Bring a lantern, gather with us and welcome the light of year to come.
Sip warm beverages from Indah Coffee, toast marshmallows and get your face painted at this annual celebration of the shortest day. We will parade into the park at dark!
