City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department announces that Riverfront Park at 312 Laurel Street will close Monday, November 13 to replace decking on the pedestrian bridge. Work is expected to take two weeks. The north entrance to the park at 4122 River Drive will remain open, but passage through the south end of the park will not be possible during this project.
Guests are encouraged to visit the Saluda Riverwalk, 650 Candi Lane or Granby Park, 100 Catawba Street during the closure.
