The City of Columbia’s Solid Waste Division will modify its schedule on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Solid waste collections will not be picked up on Monday, January 16th. For this day, Monday’s routes will be collected on Tuesday the 17th and Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday the 18th.
City residents are encouraged to download the free “Columbia, SC Solid Waste” app for iPhone or Android for weekly collection reminders and holiday schedule changes. Residents can also sign up for other notification options online at http://columbiasc.net/solid-waste/recycling/waste-wizard.
