Kickoff to Small Business Week

Members of Columbia City Council, Richland County Council and Representatives, the Columbia Chamber, Toms Creek Farmers Market Xchange, and Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union to hold press conference to kick-off National Small Business Week.

Columbia, S.C. – The City of Columbia in partnership with Richland County, Columbia Chamber of Commerce, and Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union is hosting a press conference and ribbon cutting to kick off National Small Business Week 2024 on Monday, April 29th at 10:00AM at Toms Creek Farmers Market Xchange, located at 912 Lady Street, Suite #100, Columbia, SC 29201.

Columbia City Council members, Richland County Council members, and representatives from the Columbia Chamber of Commerce will attend.  The City and Richland County will also present a proclamation in honor of National Small Business Week 2024.

National Small Business Week recognizes the contributions of entrepreneurs and small business owners and celebrates their tenacity.  This year, the city will recognize small business owners during this week.  To kick-off National Small Business Week, Mr. Larry Schneeberger and Dr. Neset Hikmet, owners of Toms Creek Farmers Market Xchange, will be the first to be recognized.  Toms Creek Farmers Market Xchange provides an indoor artisan market experience that provides fresh fruits and vegetables along with coffee, bread, meats, and cheese.
