Join Us for the 2024 Go Red Heart Campaign Kickoff Walk with City Manager Teresa Wilson!

By February 19, 2024No Comments

The City of Columbia, under the guidance of our esteemed City Manager, Teresa Wilson, is thrilled to announce our partnership with the American Heart Association for the 2024 Go Red Campaign. This initiative aligns perfectly with Ms. Wilson’s passion for promoting health and wellness within our community.

The American Heart Association is a relentless force for longer, healthier lives, and together with our friends and neighbors in the Midlands, we aim to make a significant impact. By joining the fight against heart disease and stroke, we can save lives and create a healthier future for all.

To kick off this exciting campaign, we invite you to join us for a walk on Wednesday, February 21st, starting at 1136 Washington Street and culminating at the State House, all while dressed in vibrant red attire. During the event, Ms. Wilson will also reveal the winner of the employee t-shirt contest (see attached flyer for details).

The 2024 Go Red Heart Campaign promises to be a fun and engaging way for employees and citizens alike to prioritize their health while making a meaningful difference in our community. We look forward to seeing you there!
