City’s Pet of the Week: Endure (#A271900)

By October 25, 2021No Comments

Endure came to our facility as a stray with horrible demodectic mange. This poor guy had almost no hair but has recovered wonderfully! Demodex is non-contagious (he cannot pass it to other dogs, animals, or humans) but is also incurable (he will have it the rest of his life.) He requires no further treatment but will need to stay in a clean, flea free, predominantly indoor environment. Things such as stress and straw can cause a flare up. Endure would love to have a fenced in yard to romp around in but he cannot be an outdoor dog. This guy would like to be a city guy! At one year of age, he is friendly and exuberant. He has done well with other dogs his size but will probably be inappropriate in a home with toy breeds or geriatric dogs. As always, bring your dog out for a meet and greet with this adoptable pet of the week!

This loving “furbaby” is currently ready to meet his “furever” family. Please refer to the ID number listed above when visiting the website.
