City’s Pet of the Week: Benji (#A270495)

By February 1, 2022No Comments

Benji is our adoptable pet of the week! This 2-year-old bundle of fun was surrendered to the shelter when the owners failed to understand just how much energy a young pit bull can have! Benji is friendly and personable but the word “hyper” has been used more than once to describe him. He needs plenty of structured exercise and while a fenced in yard may be a great boon to potty-training, sticking him outside to tool around a bit doesn’t count. He needs to go for leash walks and hikes, maybe jogging!  But we promise you that this handsome lug is well worth the effort. Benji has done well with other medium sized dogs but will probably be too much for a very small or geriatric dog. As always, bring your baby out for a meet and greet. Benji came to us heartworm positive but has already undergone treatment. Come meet Benji!

This loving “furbaby” is currently ready to meet his “furever” family. Please refer to the ID number listed above when visiting the website.
