Before the challenge, fitness ambassadors from Prisma Health will be demonstrating the seven exercise stations on the Fitness Court.
Representatives, Ambassadors and participants will also be available for individual interviews.
BACKGROUND: City of Columbia, Prisma Health® and National Fitness Campaign (NFC) are holding a ribbon cutting launch of the much anticipated Fitness Court® in Columbia. The Fitness Court will provide the region with equitable access to free world-class healthy infrastructure that allows users to leverage their own body weight to get a complete workout in 7 movements. Fitness Courts are created with adults of all ages and abilities in mind, allowing users to move at their own pace. Fitness Court users are encouraged to download the free mobile application, the Fitness Court App, which offers world-class workouts and acts as a coach-in-your-pocket.
