Parking Services once again is excited to support our local businesses & community by offering complimentary parking over the Christmas and New Year Holidays!
On-street meter operations
Christmas:
- Tuesday, December 24 – enforcement until 6:00 p.m. as usual
- FREE CITYWIDE – Tuesday, December 24 (After 6:00 p.m.)
- Thursday, December 26, except Five Points, which will operate as normal (enforcement on duty 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
- Normal Meter operations resume Friday, December 27 at 9:00 a.m.
New Year’s:
- FREE CITYWIDE- Wednesday, January 1, 2025 (per regular ordinance)
All city parking deck facilities
Christmas:
- Tuesday, December 24- normal operations until 5:00 p.m.

- Tuesday, 12/24, at 5:00 p.m. gates will be raised (Lincoln, Park, Lady, Sumter). So FREE *DECK PARKING Christmas Eve Night (12/24) through the day after Christmas (12/26).
- The gates will be lowered for normal operations at 2am on Friday December 27th.
New Year’s:
- Tuesday, December 31 – normal operations until 5:00 p.m.

- Tuesday, 12/31, at 5:00 p.m. gates will be raised (Lincoln, Park, Lady, Sumter). So FREE *DECK PARKING Tuesday New Year’s Eve Night (12/31) through New Year’s Day (1/1)
- The gates will be lowered for normal operations at 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
