WHO: City’s Office of Violent Crime Prevention, City officials, the Richland School District One Office of Dropout Prevention & Mentoring Services, and more.
WHAT: The purpose of this event is to host youth-led sessions to highlight Youth Justice Action Month. Presenters will also touch on specific community issues that impact youth and families such as community violence as part of National Crime Prevention Month and dropout prevention information for National Dropout Prevention Month. There will be specific sessions for youth and specific supportive sessions for adults. This event will close with a community fair to connect all participants to government agencies and community organizations who will provide information about community-based prevention and intervention services.
