What: The City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities will be hosting the ribbon cutting of WhizWorld Kids Academy on Wednesday, September 2 at 11:00 a.m. at 903 Elmwood Avenue. WhizWorld Kids Academy is an early learning academy designed to support whole-child growth in a warm, safe, and engaging environment. They serve children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, offering families more than daycare or preschool and also provide a foundation for confidence, emotional wellness, and school readiness. At WhizWorld Kids Academy, children learn in an environment designed to help them feel safe, calm, and supported throughout the day. Their approach is rooted in the WhizWorld Whole-Child Framework, which supports children through five core pillars: Mind, Body, Heart, Self, and Community.
