The City of Columbia is announcing a proposed increase in parking rates in order to reinvest revenue into the parking system and enhance the customer experience.
The City will focus on infrastructure, maintenance, and repairs that are crucial to the overall quality and utilization of the parking decks throughout the system. Investments will also be made in operations, systems, innovation and aesthetics.
A number of projects will take place immediately, with others projected over the next few years.
A 2nd reading regarding the proposed increase will take place on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 4:00p.m.

An open house was also held on October 15, 2024 from 2:00pm-4:00pm in the lobby of City Hall.
