In conjunction with the Go Red movement, which encourages awareness of heart disease and heart health, the City of Columbia Public Relations, Media, and Marketing Department and Drew Wellness Center held the first “Jump Start your Heart” Day Party, on Saturday, February 10, 2024. Nearly 200 people were in attendance at the the Day Party which featured a variety of activities including family fun relay races, Zumba, HIIT and Yoga workouts, which were all led by Drew Wellness Trainers, massages, music, giveaways and more. City of Columbia Public Relations, Media, and Marketing Department partnered with Eau Claire Cooperative Health and Prisma Health for free health screening, Midlands Orthopedic to offer free massages, and Food Share to give the community Information about services they offer.
