On Thursday, August 5, 2021, Columbia City Council held an emergency meeting at Busby Street Community Center to ratify a state of emergency ordinance regarding the recent rise and spread of COVID-19 delta variant, especially regarding its impact on children.
The Emergency Ordinance went into effect immediately upon its enactment and will expire automatically on the 61st day following the date of its enactment.
