During the presentation portion of the City Council meeting, Mayor Daniel Rickenmann presented the Small Business Day Administration Proclamation. Mayor Pro Tem Ed McDowell presented the Miss Jada Samuel Day Proclamation to Miss South Carolina 2023, Jada Samuel.
During the City Council meeting, City Council passed several items on the consent agenda that continue to approve investment in our infrastructure. Most notably, Item 15 includes over $12M to rehabilitate a significant portion of the Crane Creek wastewater collection system. This investment will improve areas of aging infrastructure, minimize sanitary sewer overflows, and provide more reliable service to the customers in this area.
