Currently\, Dr. Javis is the Director of Human Resources for the City of Columbia. Justin Nelson\, who is from Charlotte\, NC\, currently serves as Plant Manager for Martin Marietta Materials and a graduate of South Carolina State University and the University of Phoenix. Community members are encouraged to bring two non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation to support families in need during the holiday season. \nIn addition to supporting food assistance efforts\, Friends Building highlights OBO’s commitment to strengthening Columbia’s small business community. The event will provide a space for entrepreneurs\, small business owners\, and creatives to connect\, collaborate\, and participate in conversations centered on community-building and creative entrepreneurship.
