When:  March 14, 2018 from 2:30 p.m. -4:30 p.m. 
Where:  The Earlwood Park Facility, 1113 Parkside Drive, Columbia SC 29203


During the workshop we will guide organizations through the Zoomgrants process and answer any questions you may have regarding the application.  We will also discuss the FY19 Hospitality Grant Guidelines and important dates to know regarding grant procedures.

The City of Columbia offers Accommodations and Hospitality Tax grants to eligible organizations and or projects/events.  To determine eligibility, available dates, and grant guidelines, refer to the links under each grant offered.  General Fund grants are offered when money is available.

Accommodations Tax Grants (Applications Available Jan 2018 and Due March 16, 2018 For FY19) provide financial support to non-profit organizations and their projects/events whose mission is to attract tourists by promoting overnight accommodations in the City of Columbia. To be eligible, your organization must be a nonprofit with documentation from the South Carolina Secretary of State’s Office, with activities in the City of Columbia. It is the intent of this committee to fund the Columbia Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau and Capital City Lake Murray for fiscal year 2018-2019. Listed below is the link for the 2018-2019 Application.

Hospitality Tax Grants (Applications Available Jan 2018 and Due March 30, 2018 For FY19) provide financial support to non-profit organizations and their projects/events whose mission is to attract tourists by promoting dining in the City of Columbia.  To be eligible, your organization must be a nonprofit with documentation from the South Carolina Secretary of State’s Office, with activities in the City of Columbia.  Refer to the guidelines in the link below to see all eligibility requirements.

Community Promotions Grant:  provide financial support to non-profit or charitable organizations within the City of Columbia.  Applications for Community Promotions grants will be made available once funds (if any) are allocated in the City’s FY 18/19 General Fund budget.  There is no funding available for Community Promotions Grants at this time.  To request money when it becomes available, please email [email protected] with a complete description of your requested funding, project/organization, and all pertinent information.
