What: Leisurehound Athletic Club will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tomorrow, Friday, October 16th. The park and bar will be open for business immediately following the ceremony. Located in Columbia’s North Main District, Leisurehound is a half-acre off-leash dog park and biergarten where dogs can play while their owners enjoy a drink and spend time with friends and neighbors. Leisurehound welcomes the city to experience Columbia’s new backyard oasis. Human admission is free – no dog is required. The festivities continue Saturday, October 17th, with a larger grand opening celebration: an Oktoberfest party featuring a special food truck, dog-friendly vendors, music, and the charming biergarten atmosphere Columbia residents can expect from Leisurehound Athletic Club. Dog day passes and memberships are available for purchase. Guests bringing dogs should visit leisurehoundathleticclub.com to register and review vaccination and entry requirements before visiting.
