The Non-Profit Events Seminar hosted by the City of Columbia will help event managers learn about funding programs through the City of Columbia and identifying information that sponsors need to increase the probability of funding.
The seminar will be taught by Harold Reaves, City of Columbia Special Events Coordinator, Laura S. Truell, Instructor of Sport and Entertainment Management at USC, and Tina Saxon, Grants Coordinator for the City of Columbia.
This is the second workshop within a series of workshops designed to assist and prepare event managers with planning, producing, and administering their events. Topical areas for this series will include Event Management 101, Staffing, Risk Management/Liability, Insurance, and Potential Sponsorship/Funding.
