What: The City of Columbia is proud to announce that registration is now open for the 20th Annual Mayor’s Walk and Run Against Domestic Violence, taking place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, starting at 8 a.m. at Finlay Park.
This year marks two decades of the Mayor’s Campaign Against Domestic Violence, an annual effort to raise awareness about domestic violence, support survivors and connect the community with resources. The 2026 campaign benefits SisterCare, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and their children.
For the first time, the event will feature both the community’s longstanding awareness walk and a new 5K run, giving participants additional opportunities to show their support and help raise awareness for this important cause.
