Due to the forecast for rain and the potential for inclement weather, the City of Columbia has adjusted the schedule for 2026 Park Palooza, taking place tomorrow Saturday, July 25, at Finlay Park, 930 Laurel Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
The event will now be held from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The event was previously scheduled for 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Hosted by the City of Columbia Parks & Recreation Department, the inaugural Park Palooza celebrates National Parks and Recreation Month with a day of free, family-friendly fun for residents and visitors of all ages. Attendees can enjoy live entertainment, games, interactive activities, local food vendors, community organizations and opportunities to learn more about City of Columbia Parks & Recreation programs and services.
The schedule adjustment is being made to provide the best possible experience while prioritizing the safety of attendees, vendors, performers and event staff.
