Who: The Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement
What: The Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement is hosting a Kickoff Rally to bring together community members of all ages in a joyful, interactive setting to promote unity, peace, and positive relationships.
The event aims to strengthen community bonds, encourage collaboration, and inspire a collective commitment to a safer, more harmonious future. The Kickoff will be one of various events for the initiative: “Choose Peace, Create Change”.
The office aims to host a lively indoor event that engages youth, families, and community members in violence prevention through interactive games, performances, and creative activities. The event will emphasize fun and connection while providing information about community-based services and intervention programs that would be impactful for all attendees.
When: Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
