To Accommodate Richland School District One Students, Select City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Facilities Will Open on an Alternative Schedule

To accommodate Richland School District One students who are out school, select City of Columbia Parks and Recreation facilities will open on an alternative schedule:

The following sites will open from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

  • Woodland Park Community Center -6500 Olde Knight Parkway
  • Greenview Park Community Center- 6700 David Street
  • Martin Luther King Park Community Center- 2300 Greene Street
  • Leroy Moss Community Center at Hyatt Park- 950 Jackson Avenue
  • Pinehurst Park Community Center- 2300 Pinehurst Road
  • Lorick Park Community Center- 1600 Lorick Avenue

The following sites will open from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

  • Emily Douglas Park Neighborhood Center- 2500 Wheat Street
  • S. Edisto Park Neighborhood Center- 1914 Wiley Street
  • Heathwood Park Neighborhood Center- 800 Abelia Road

The following sites will open from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

  • Columbia Art Center- 1227 Taylor Street

The following sites will open from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

  • Sarah Nance Community Resource Center- 2611 Grant Street
  • Busby Street Community Center- 1735 Busby Street
  • James E. Clyburn Golf Center- 2091 Slighs Avenue

The following site will open from 5:30 am – 9:00 pm

  • Charles R. Drew Wellness Center- 2101 Walker Solomon

The following site will open from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm

  • Columbia Tennis Center- 1635 Whaley Street

 

**After-school will not be offered Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 at City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department Facilities

 

*Earlewood Administrative Offices and Sims Park Neighborhood Center remain closed due to power outages
