What: The City of Columbia Office of Business Opportunities to host an in person and virtual (via Zoom) CrossFit: Building and Managing Multi-Generational & Cross-Functioning Teams Workshop on Thursday, September 26 at 10 AM. Tyson K. Brown, Founder and Executive Director, Project OneWay Incorporated will be the featured speaker.

The purpose of this workshop is to highlight the necessary strategies for ensuring multi-generational and cross-functioning teams collaborate healthily in a variety of shared spaces – including the workplace.

Topics of discussion include:

  1. The practice of establishing, and respecting clear workplace boundaries that may vary from generation to generation.
  2. The reality that the presence of the younger generation in the workplace does not make the role of the older generation obsolete.
  3. The value of team members possessing the ability to agree, without becoming disagreeable; as well as strategies for conflict resolution
