Public Works is currently working with a contractor to re-open the intersection of Devine St. and Holly St. Due to a tree falling, the traffic signalization was compromised and damaged. Devine Street and Holly Street are currently closed one block in each direction. Motorists should find an alternative route and follow Columbia Police Department traffic control. A contractor will be replacing the downed poles and Traffic Engineering will reset the signalization. Roads are expected to re-open at 6 p.m. tonight. Notice will be sent when the roads are re-opened to normal traffic flow.
