Ukrainian artist Jenna (Yevheniia) Bazaliy will hold a community art event at Richland Library Wheatley on Saturday, February 24 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm (noon), and encourages the public to take part in painting the large trout sculpture provided to her as part of the City of Columbia’s Columbia Streams Art public art program.
Jenna Bazaliy has held other community art events with Richland Library, which engage community members to join together in collaboration on public art that fosters creativity and unity.
Officially launched by Mayor Rickenmann in October 2023, Columbia Streams Art is a multi-faceted public arts program that has engaged Columbia’s creative community to celebrate Columbia’s unique access to our rivers.
