Who: The Arts and Entertainment Community at NoMa Warehouse is partnering with Davis Architecture and Building and Design Community.
What: 2023 Gingerbread House Competition and Exhibition, this event is a fun way to highlight great works of edible architecture and design while spreading holiday cheer for our community!
Proceeds from the event will benefit Rapid Shelter Columbia.
Schedule of Events:
Friday, Dec 1, 2023: All Gingerbread Houses will be on display at NoMa Warehouse for public viewing and People’s Choice Voting. . There will be hot cocoa, snacks, and a gingerbread house making station for children, all free. Friday’s event will take place at NoMa Warehouse located at 2222 Sumter Street, Columbia, SC 29201, from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Entry to the exhibition is free to the public, but we will be accepting donations for Rapid Shelter Columbia during the exhibition. We will share a list of items needed by Rapid Shelter Columbia in advance, and monetary donations will be accepted as well
Saturday, Dec 2, 2023: Cocktail Party at Davis Architecture. All the Gingerbread Houses will be on display at Davis Architecture, and the winners of the competition will be unveiled at the beginning of the party. Guests will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, as well as holiday cheer. Saturday’s event will take place at Davis Architecture located at 1328 Blanding Street, Columbia, SC 29201, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Tickets for this event are $50 per person and 100% of proceeds go to Rapid Shelter Columbia.
