WHAT: Paella’South was created in 2018 by orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Pedro Figueredo. Dr. Figueredo was raised in Venezuela and paella was the staple dish in his family for all occasions. With a passion for making paella, he created Paella’South which is the only vendor of Spanish food in Columbia. Paella’South is a staple at the Soda City Market with 500 customers visiting them monthly. With the opening of Arepa South by Paella’South, Dr. Figueredo will share his passion of paellas and create a system around an accessible, affordable, fast and fresh dishes.
