We had a blast on Friday, September 15th, when the City celebrated our 8th annual PARK(ing) Day, with 13 parklets placed throughout the Main Street District! This year also marked the third year that PARK(ing) Day included a contest – a People’s Choice Award, and a juried Best Design Award. The votes are in, and the winners are:
- 2023 Juried Best Design Award: HDR, open for art in action
- 2023 People’s Choice Award: LS3P Associates, open for play
Winners received bragging rights, as well as some fun, locally-sourced, prizes courtesy of Experience Columbia, One Columbia for Arts and Culture, the City of Columbia, and local potter Leigh DeForth.
