Starting in October, Columbia Water’s annual seasonal sewer discount will end for the 2017 year. Customers who use more than 1,400 cubic feet or approximately 10,500 gallons in a month will be charged the full price for sewer services on their bill. Stormwater Management will be hosting a community meeting to talk about the Harlem Heights/ Fairwold Acres Area Drainage Study. This will be the first of several meetings on the City's plans to alleviate flooding in the area.

The City will participate in an Open House on flood hazard risk and anticipated updates to the Richland County Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) on June 24th from 4-7PM at the Richland County Administration Building at 2020 Hampton Street. City floodplain staff will be on-hand to answer questions about the City's floodplain policies and assist City property owners in understanding the flood insurance process.
